I fed monkies at shrine in the middle of town. Then we went to a hotewl and crashed thier pool.; I was worried that we were in for another pool theripy but we were spared. After the pool we went to the Meuseum but found we were too tired to move so we chilled in a resturaunt and ate some food. Home again and to sleep. lets move on to when I left the last e-mail.
Off to the market for new clothes. I got some cool stuff and a feel for what I want to get closer to my departurte. Then of course it was time for a tooth cleaning. why? $7! That's why. My dental hygenist told me I was very handsome and then went on to tell me that she hopes her children will look like me. PLUS!!!! No cavaties. Off to a American as fuck bar that had overpriced food and old white guys with not old or white girls. YIKES. Great talk aboiut Forest shit and then off to home. Rest. Relax. Rendevous.; Off to Rock.; A huge bar with a dance floor and a stage for live performance. This place was nuts and I don't really have too much time to explain. Just no that Cambodian performance and dancing is very odd. "Neck" our Cambodian friend and guide was very excited to bring us onto the dance florr and teach us a group dance. dance-ish. It was hula dancing on valium meets the subtle current of a whirlpool jacuzzi. The sng was close to fifteen minutes long and in that time I made two laps around a very small dance floor. After dancing a bit I sat back down and Dave had ordered us shots of something like bailies but it was on fire. I was to drink it with a straw which I did and immedietly fel sick and wanted to puke. I held it in and finally overcamer the sick. Levi and I set off to explor ethe building. The back was fucking crazy. All the performers where hanging out and there wee VIP rooms that we were not welcome in. I went to the bathroom and when i came out Levi was being fed a cracker by a 16 year old girl. I alowed myself to be fed crackers too and tried to talk with one of the girls that more closely resembled 20. I couldn';t understand much but I did get that she was willing to dance with me and off to the dance floor we went. By then a new band was coming up and they were set to do American covers.
Funny how thiungs come full circle.
When I was in Kid's Who Care and I first heard Maria Carey's "Hero". How could I have known that I would be bumping and grinding a hot Cambodian Prostitute to a cover of that same song just ten years later.
Granted at the time I wasn't sure she was a prostitute, but that became pretty clear when I had to go. She wanted to come with, and not just for a cuddle. To her dismay I said no but i took down her number so she wouldn't feel bad.
Today... We went to the Genocide museum which was very moving. i got pretty upset at one point and had to step out. They have everything fomr the genocide and pictures for days of th people who died and of them dead. After words we tried to go to the palace but it was closed. Neck suggested we shoot guns instead and we were all game. i rode for 20 kilometers on the back of Necks scooter to the shooting range and then I shot my first gun. the shooting of it was ok bu tthe AK-47 photo shoot that followed was really fun. to our suprise just 100meters from the shooting range was a go karts course. It was just like Mario Carts 64 minus the turtle shells. I lapped everyone and one the race! Eating traveling home aghain. Here I am. Of course I'm leaving out some of the little things. I haven't mentioned Lay Todays dad who comes with us to everything. He speaks no English but really likes to laugh.
